Employment FAQs

Can a recruitment agency charge me a fee to register with them, or to help me find a job?
No. As outlined in Your Rights as a Candidate an employment service cannot charge a job seeker a fee for the purpose of finding the job seeker employment.

What happens if I am not successful in securing the position that I have applied for?
Unless instructed otherwise, once you have formally registered with Chadwick Personnel, we will retain a copy of your resume on our files, until such time as we are informed that you are no longer actively seeking employment. This will enable us to contact you regarding any positions that become available, which may be of interest to you.

Is it okay for me to register with more than one recruitment agency?
At Chadwick Personnel, we do not have any policies which restrict our candidates from registering with other recruitment agencies. We will not request that any candidate use our agency exclusively.

Can I request advice from Chadwicks’ consultants?
Our consultants are committed to assisting our candidates in any way we possibly can. This includes the provision of advice relating to resume preparation, interviewing techniques, salary expectations and career direction.

What should I wear to my interview at Chadwick Personnel?
As most of our clients’ vacancies are based within professional environments, we would generally recommend that you wear corporate, professional attire to your interview. Should you be registering for a position within the non-corporate sector, for example, within fashion, we would suggest that you wear neat attire that is appropriate for the targeted work environment.
